Our Beginnings
Prince’s expanded to other Texas cities through the 50’s and 60’s. Incorporating in 1954, Prince Food Systems, Inc. now operated drive-ins, plus quick-service and full-service restaurants. The second generation of Prince’s took the lead, opening upscale restaurants in the boom days of the 70’s.
A Focus on Food Service
In the 80’s, Prince began a focus on corporate food service in both cafeteria and executive dining. Experience in fine dining was an asset. Our ability to cook good food from fresh ingredients made employee cafeterias a place people looked forward to going, instead of them being thought of as “school cafeterias.” Prince increased employee participation in every food service it operated, as much as 300%!
In the 90’s, Prince began providing healthcare food service with the idea that our ability to cook great food should also be adaptable to hospitals. Our food quality and taste are unsurpassed in the industry. We have great success giving patients and staff better tasting meals and reducing cost. We’re changing the reputation of hospital meals one tray at a time!
A New Century
The new century saw Prince focus on expanding service and menu options, constantly updating offerings popular with customers. Prince continues to expand capabilities such as catering and online ordering, including menus with nutritional information.
The third generation of Prince’s and our stellar executive team are focused on innovation and growth as we approach 100 years in business.
